Planting and propagation day

  • Plenty River Walk, north of old aqueduct pipe bridge, accessible from Hamish Court, Greensborough (map)

At this working bee we will continue planting and spreading mulch in the new site to the north of the old aqueduct pipe bridge. See map below if you are not yet familiar with the location.

We will also set up a propagation table where there will be the option of potting up some native seedlings to prepare them for future planting.

Note that the site is on a fairly steep slope. Please stay safe and work to your own ability and comfort.

All tools and plants will be provided. We usually finish the working bee with tea and coffee and scones or other sweets.

Please bring your own:

  • Gardening gloves

  • Sturdy footwear, and clothing that you don’t mind getting a bit dirty

  • Sun protection (hat, sunscreen etc.)

  • Rain jacket (weather depending)

  • Drinking water
